An immersive experience designed to slow down, sharpen your gaze, and rebuild a more authentic and mindful relationship with the natural environment, alongside Mia Canestrini and Camilla Pagliarosi. In a guided yet open setting, participants will be led on a journey that combines field exploration, moments of discussion, and hands-on activities, with the goal of rediscovering the value of presence, listening, and observation.
Through field trips, landscape reading exercises, and interpretation of signs of wildlife, we will work on developing practical skills: recognizing tracks and clues, understanding ecological dynamics, and acquiring useful tools for navigating nature more consciously and respectfully. In parallel, in-depth sessions will offer accessible yet rigorous scientific insights to better understand the behaviors of wild species and the challenges of coexisting with human activities. The event is designed as a space for active and shared learning, where firsthand experience intertwines with scientific dissemination, fostering open exchange between participants and facilitators. It is an opportunity to challenge perceptions and stereotypes, explore the theme of coexistence, and together build new forms of relationship between human communities and nature. More than just an event, it is a journey that invites a shift in perspective: from distracted enjoyment to attentive presence, from superficial observation to profound understanding, and ultimately to the construction of a culture of coexistence based on knowledge, responsibility, and respect.from the 25 to the 27 September 2026

THEMATIC WEEKEND PROGRAM
DISCONNECT
Let's leave our phones and digital distractions aside. When the signal disappears, the space opens up to truly reconnect with what surrounds us: nature, people, direct experience.
RECONNECT
We learn to observe nature using all our senses, not just sight. Through sensory activities and tracking exercises, we will develop attention, observation skills, and a deeper connection with the natural environment.
REWILD YOURSELF
We'll experience the area authentically through trekking, wildlife observation, and sunrise hideouts, rediscovering the value of slowing down and immersing ourselves in nature.
EDUCATE YOURSELF
A space dedicated to learning and discussion, with talks and meetings on large predators, the coexistence of humans and wildlife, conservation, responsible tourism, illegal wildlife trafficking, and environmental communication. Events include: * I'm Not Afraid of the Wolf: Getting to Know the Wolf
* Conservation and communication of large predators
* Conscious tourism and responsible wildlife observation
* CITES and illegal wildlife trafficking in Italy
* Final panel with open discussion between environmentalists, breeders and hunters
INNER CHILD
Learning while having fun. Quizzes, group games, track recognition, bird songs, animal sizes, and interactive activities make the experience more engaging and truly capture what we've learned. Because curiosity is one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding the natural world.
