Also in 2025, Io non ho paura del lupo APS has renewed its commitment to the coexistence between human activities and wild fauna, through the Coexistence Fund: a small but precious tool designed to support those who every day choose the path of respect and coexistence with large carnivores.
The Fund, now in its third edition, is aimed at all breeders, both professional and otherwise, with particular attention to smaller entities, often excluded from institutional support channels due to the sometimes hobbyist nature of their activity.
Thanks to this fund, we deliver free of charge, within the limits of available resources, food for guard dogs, electric and mobile nets, signs and signalling useful for the management of dogs, as well as tools, products and services designed to improve the systems for preventing attacks by predators.
The goal is clear: to concretely help those who, with dedication and a sense of responsibility, choose to raise their livestock while respecting biodiversity, ecosystems and territories.
In 2025 the Coexistence Fund supported:
- 21 breeders and breeders
- in 15 Italian provinces
- with the distribution of over 5 tons of food
- dozens of prevention tools, including 50 information signs, which are added to the more than 350 already donated in previous years.
A growing network that shows us how coexistence is not only possible, but is in fact already a reality in many areas of our country.

Among the secondary objectives, but no less important, there is the desire to create a network between virtuous breeders, promoting:
• the exchange and reuse of no longer used zootechnical material
• sharing experiences and good practices
• the collection of testimonies to be told and valorised
• the involvement of donors and companies who want to contribute by offering materials or services
The Coexistence Fund is much more than instrumental aid: it is a concrete pact between breeders, the territory and biodiversity, an invitation to build together a more balanced future, where large predators can coexist alongside human activities.
All this is made possible by the trust and commitment of the breeders, the members of I'm not afraid of the wolf and the small and large donors who support us.
