I'm not afraid of the wolf APS opens subscriptions for the 2024/2025 edition of the Coexistence Fund, a small "instrumental" fund that provides material, products and services with the aim of promoting coexistence with large carnivores. This initiative is dedicated to all professional and non-professional breeders, with an eye towards smaller businesses, trying to help those who cannot benefit from institutional aid due to the sometimes hobby-like nature of managing their farm animals.
Thanks to this fund, partly financed for 2024/2025 also through the "A cushion for Coexistence” created together with the Aree Protette Alpi Marittime and LIFE WolfALps EU, we will deliver free of charge, and within the limits of the economic availability for the initiative, equipment, products and services useful for improving the prevention systems against predator attacks, signs for the management of guard dogs and more generally everything that can be useful for developing the coexistence between livestock farming and large predators. Furthermore, among the secondary aims of this project is that of creating a network between virtuous breeders, encouraging the exchange and reuse of livestock material when no longer used, telling their stories to give voice to the realities involved and encouraging donations of materials and services useful for the initiative by companies or individuals.Joining the project is possible by completing the expression of interest form which you can find at the bottom of this page.
Important information
The Coexistence Fund is a small initiative with limited economic availability and does not replace and should not be understood as institutional aid or subsidy.
Its subscription is open to both companies and private citizens who own farm animals in areas where wolves are present.
Any requests that cannot be immediately accepted may be satisfied over time and/or based on new economic availability paid by the fund
Participation in the initiative will involve the signing of a free loan contract and a release declaration towards Io non ho massimo del wolf APS.
Filling out the form does not automatically give you the right to participate in the initiative but represents an expression of interest.
I am not afraid of the wolf. APS, based on the available budget and the type of applications received, will satisfy the greatest number of requests as defined by its Board of Directors.
I am not afraid of the wolf reserves the right to close the subscription form at any time and/or as soon as a number of requests deemed adequate for the development of the initiative have been received.
