For millennia, man and wolf have shared the same territory, observing each other from a distance in a balance of fear, competition and fascination. The wolf, a symbol of freedom, has long been persecuted and demonized, becoming the protagonist of a narrative that has distorted its image. Today, with its return to territories from which it had almost disappeared, the debate on its presence is becoming increasingly heated, but how much do we really know about this predator? What are its real impacts on ecosystems and human activities? And, above all, how can we learn to live with it?
I'm not afraid of the wolf is a podcast created to answer these questions, which explores the world of the wolf through the contribution of experts in the fields of biology, ecology, zoology and anthropology. We will analyze the behavior and ecology of the species, its role in our ecosystems, its return to Italy and the challenges of coexistence with human activities.
Each episode will address a specific aspect of the presence of the wolf in our territory, debunking false myths and providing a scientific and updated vision. From the biology of the wolf to the management of conflict with man, from the role of the collective imagination to conservation strategies, the podcast, available on all major platforms, will guide the listener on a journey of knowledge to rediscover the real wolf and learn to coexist with it.
