Wolf monitoring in the Parma Plain continues: in addition to the historic core we've been monitoring since 2021 and the second core, which began in late 2023, this report, covering the 2024-2025 biological wolf year, also details the progress of a new core, which we began monitoring in August 2024.
During the period covered in this report, we collected interesting new evidence about wolves' lives in a heavily anthropized area, confirming that the monitoring we conducted allows us to reveal important aspects of the species' behavior in a non-invasive way.
