Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday Stories of wolves and shepherds in Lessinia - Second Edition and at the opening of Sælvatica - 365 days of fauna in Lessinia the photographic exhibition which will remain on display throughout the month of August.
For the second year we met in the pastures of Malga Derocchetto together with Quelle del Baito to discuss some of the problems of the mountain, get to know the shepherds and their coexistence with the environment and with the wolf, reflect on the park and more in general, to face in serenity and being united so many topics that often divide.
We therefore thank all the guests who came, those who walked from Erbezzo reaching the hut on foot and showing, despite the really hot day how much this Park needs more legs and less cars, we again warmly thank those of the Baito for the welcome and local products that we had the pleasure of tasting as well as we thank Margherita Sciarretta for telling us the old stories that were handed down in Lessinia, among men, wolves and woods of yesteryear.
There were many ideas and the little time available did not allow us to perhaps deepen all aspects, but this time too we have learned that the calm confrontation and the desire to know are among the most precious assets that can do good for the mountains and to the man who lives it.
