/ MONITORING AND FIELD RESEARCH
The activity is carried out by motivated volunteers who, through the use of non-invasive techniques, such as excrement collection, tracing on snow and transects, photo and video trapping, collect and convey valuable information on the wolf to the institutions in charge.

Field activities are essential to try to understand the dynamics involving the packs we follow. It starts from the exploration of the territory, in search of signs of presence, geo-referencing the position of the markings, which is then archived in a specific database. Through various data collection techniques we try to elaborate information on the members of the herds, their rotation and the real territorial extension occupied.
We have also participated, with almost a hundred volunteers engaged in the Apennine and Alpine area, in the first National Monitoring of the Wolf coordinated by ISPRA - Higher Institute for Protection and Environmental Research, during which we covered the defined transects in search of the genetic sampling sites and we carried out the snow tracing outings.
Our goal is important and to achieve it we need you.
Ensuring a future for wolves in Italy and Europe through coexistence with human activities: join us.
