With a wingspan that can reach 2,40 meters, the golden eagle is a majestic and fascinating bird of prey considered since ancient times the queen of the sky. Powerful and fast, it can reach up to 200 km per hour, it has a brown plumage and golden streaks stand out on the head, from which the scientific name Aquila chrysaetos derives, which literally means golden eagle.

During the two days we will learn about the biology and ethology of the golden eagle, its diffusion in the Apennines and about and recognize the main diurnal birds of prey. We will devote most of the time to field observations with the help of the powerful telescope and binoculars in search of the queen of the sky. Program
